Oxide Connect is an independent, resident-run community platform for Second Life residents. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for your account, your credentials, and everything published from it.

You keep ownership of what you post. You give Oxide permission to store, display, and distribute your content within the service so that the features you use can work, including feeds, discovery, and shared listings.

Only publish content you have the right to publish, and rate it honestly as General, Moderate, or Adult.

• No harassment, hate, threats, doxxing, or sharing another resident's private information.
• No sexual content involving minors or child-presenting avatars, and no content that breaks Second Life policy.
• No impersonation of other residents, businesses, publications, or Oxide staff.
• No spam, bulk unsolicited messaging, scams, or repeated promotional flooding.
• Respect blocks, mutes, audience settings, and content ratings.

Live Invitations are for immediate, person-to-person activity only. They are not event listings, venue or business advertising, recurring announcements, or general promotion. Use Events for anything scheduled.

Each resident may run one active invitation at a time, invitations end automatically within a short live window, and a cooldown applies before a new one can be started, including when an invitation is closed early. Misusing invitations for promotion may lead to removal of the invitation or loss of access to the feature.

Oxide will never ask for your Second Life password. Verification is done through official Oxide in-world verification terminals or the Oxide Viewer, using public Second Life information only.

Oxide staff may hide, reclassify, or remove content, and may restrict or remove accounts that break these terms. Moderation actions are recorded for accountability. You can report content through the reporting controls in the product.

Oxide Connect is provided as is, without warranty. Features may change, break, or be withdrawn, and data loss or downtime can happen. Do not rely on Oxide as your only copy of anything important.
