Import public Second Life profile details
Preview public details and choose what to copy to your Oxide profile.

- Signed-in residents with a verified Second Life identity.
- Where to find it
- Profile menu, Settings, Second Life identity, Import profile details.
Steps
- Verify your avatar first if the import panel asks you to.
- Select Fetch my Second Life details, or Refresh details if a snapshot already exists.
- Review the public details returned. Fetching does not change your Oxide profile.
- Choose which available fields to import: Display name, Username, Rezday, About text or Profile image.
- Select Import selected only after reviewing your choices.
- To remove previously imported details, use Remove imported details when that control is available.
What happens next
Only the selected public fields are imported. This is separate from avatar verification and does not grant access to private Second Life information.
Good to know
- Private, unavailable or mismatched public profiles cannot be imported. Follow any retry message instead of providing login details.
- This is not a general synchronization of Second Life inventory, messages or private account information.
