Share photography in Photos

Publish a photo to Photos, or add one of your existing image posts.

Who can do this

Any signed-in resident, for their own posts.

Where to find it

Feed, Photos tab.

Steps

1. Open Feed and choose the Photos tab, then Post photo.
2. In Share photos, choose your photos and complete their image classification and rating.
3. Optionally add a caption and category. Open More options for a short title, location and Audience.
4. Select Share when the photos have finished uploading.
5. For an existing image Feed post you own, open its menu and choose Add to Photos. Choose the required Photos category, then Add to Photos.

What happens next

Ordinary Feed posts never move into Photos on their own. Only posts you publish or add to Photos appear there.

Good to know

• Adding an existing Feed post to Photos requires a category. It reuses the same post and does not change its Feed destination.
• Images uploaded from the Oxide Viewer only appear in Photos when you deliberately post or add them to Photos.
• Keep draft while on this page is temporary. Leaving or reloading the page loses that photo draft. Oxide Use is optional, not required to post.
